« on: 28 01 2015, 09:00:16 »
Is there some variable way which i can use for make portable miranda with sounds and with file transfer? That instead of pointing the letters of the drive setting to use folder of miranda wherever it's located

Miranda is portable by default and if Sounds folder is inside Miranda folder - there should be relative pathes.

yeah, that's the funniest thing I've read for months here :)
Miranda is portable itself, from the very beginning. it works in relative paths only for about 10 years and doesn't need any crutches for that

I suggest setting the received files dir to something like this:

%miranda_path%\Received Files\%nick%\

this will make things work regardless of where you put your miranda.

As others pointed out, Miranda is - by nature and by default - portable. You don't need any special "portable version" of miranda since every version if portable, hehe.
