Chat Window isnt resizeable anymore
« on: 08 05 2018, 11:59:56 »
Hi,

first of all: I dont know which Plugin it is causing, i used Miranda for a few Years and always updated the Core Program, rarely the Plugins, because they were usually working. Since the "non-Updates" from Miranda made me... well, angry, i switched to NG a few Months ago. (and i love the Auto-Update!!!)

Well, anyway. With the current Version, the chat Window isnt resizeable anymore. I attach a Screenshot, maybe someone recognize the proper Plugin...

Im not sure if it happend with a earlier Version too, i just noticed it today. I tried to restart Miranda too, but unfortunately without success :(

Current active Plugins:
- authstate
- avs
- clist_modern
- discord.dll (which doesnt work btw)
- gg
- historypp
- icq
- import
- jabber
- msn
- mtextcontrol
- nudge
- pluginupdater
- popup
- seenplugin
- smileyadd
- statusmanager
- steam
- toptoolbar

For info about installation it is better to include VersionInfo, so please add it.

By chat window do you mean the whole window or some part of it?

Missed the Screenshot?

Well, here is a better one.

The Textfields do resize, when i close the Window and re-open it.

You can see that the Controls / their Anchors do not scale. (unless you close and re-open the Window)

VersionInfo attached.

Code: [Select]
¤ mContacts.dll v.0.0.0.0 [21 Aug 2004 22:34:12] - <unknown>
This dll is not a Miranda plugin and should be removed from plugins directory

¤ toolbar_icons.dll v.0.0.0.0 [3 Aug 2017 18:53:32] - <unknown>
This dll is not a Miranda plugin and should be removed from plugins directory

Removed them. Problem not solved. (and im wondering what the mcontacts.dll was for... lol)

No, I did not missed the screenshot. I wasn't sure if you were talking about window per se, or its inner parts. But you clarified that now so thank you :)

It will be a bug in the plugin (StdMsg), so there is nothing you can do right now except waiting for fix. Please be patient. Developers are a busy people but they do what they can.

Or.. you can use other messaging plugin in the meantime, if you don't mind. There is Scriver and feature packed TabSRMM. You can download one or another using ComponentManager (Main menu -> Available components list)

mContacts was probably for exporting/importing contact and history. Now we have "Import" plugin

Can you show your StdMsg settings?

(all 4 tabs from Options -> Message sessions)

No matter seems like the problem is "Use tabbed interface" option. If tabs are disabled - oops.

Is there a Keyboard Shortcut that can enable/disable that?

Seems like no. Only via Options -> Message sessions -> Tabs -> Use a tabbed interface
