Skypeclassic plugin replacement with Skypeweb
« on: 01 06 2015, 08:53:32 »
Skypeclassic plugin was removed from repository and moved to deprecated section, next update will replace SkypeClassic with SkypeWeb. SkypeClassic users will have to create a new SkypeWeb account, history can by synced by SkypeWeb plugin (by option in its preferences or manually by per-user menu item).

Unfortunately, the protocol still does not support file transfers and it is unknown when it will be implemented.

borut, perhaps when it will be available in stable version of Miranda. Right now is SkypeWeb available only in development builds if I remember. But thanks for report/suggestion.  :)
I was developing mainly Facebook, Omegle, Steam, Dummy and MobileState plugins. Now I'm retired. Goodbye, everyone. ~ You can still find me on Facebook.

Where can I find info about the SkypClassic plugin? I tried to use it in my dev Miranda, but it only crashes Miranda and I don't know why :(

peci1, SkypeClassic is deprecated. You should use SkypeWeb.

Well it works only with latest development version (not supported for stable yet). You can install it via Plugin Updater (main menu / available components...) so it will make sure you have compatible versions, if you let it update all your plugins. Then it shouldn't crash.

But I use the dev version (64bit I think).

peci1, so make sure you are using also SkypeWeb x64 and from the same build (same day) as your development Miranda.

If it still crashes, then provide crash report.
