5.1 Sound system and miranda sounds

For a time now i've had a 5.1 sound system, since i have it i can't hear miranda sounds. A few days ago, i was trying something and i discovered that when i set my sound card to work as stereo (even though i have all the speakers physically connected), miranda sounds actually work (i was kinda scared when it happened cause miranda sounds were too loud and i didn't expect them lol).

So, is there any config i should be looking for to make them work when my sound card is configured as 5.1 (which is the whole point of having it)?

Try to use Bass_interface plugin, BASS library uses direct sound, it might work better with your case.
