Unicode/Asian language support?
« on: 21 02 2017, 11:11:23 »
Hi,

Is there any way to get Asian language support in Miranda NG? I'm not referring to a translation, just an ability to see the characters.

For example, on a default installation, Korean characters look like this. Which is obviously completely useless. Is there a way for Miranda to support displaying these characters?

I don't know about group chats, but I use tabsrmm+ieview and I can see and type (for example) japanese characters just fine.

1) Set proper fonts in Options / Customize / Fonts that supports your characters
2) Make sure protocol you use is handling Unicode correctly. What is that protocol you have problem with? Try some other protocol and check if it works there.
