1. YAMN
This plugin is great, just as it should be. But there is just one irritating thing about it - I can't make system tray icon not to blink each time it checks my mails.
I'm using option "Use contact notification for this account" to see my accounts in my contact list. But, as I said, that makes irritating tray icon blinking whenever YAMN checks my mails. I wish I could stop it.
2. MINIMIZED PRIVATE CHAT TABS
The problem here is that tray icon doesn't blink when a private chat tab is minimized. It should actually blink in that case. Now it will blink only if a private chat tab is closed. So, system tray icon should work the same for the minimized private chat tabs as for closed private chat tabs.
Now whenever I'm chatting with someone, I always have to close the tab after few messages of our conversation in order to be noticed if he writes something new to me.
Of course, this shouldn't be implemented for the group chat tabs (IRC rooms), but only for private chat tabs (IRC private queries, MSN, Facebook etc).
I checked the mIRC for this purpose, and yes, its tray icon will blink even if you just minimized your private chat tab. And that makes me more comfortable, because that way I'm noticed about every new message, no matter if tab is closed or minimized. Now I always need to have in mind to close the tab just after few messages, in order to keep working other stuff on my PC, or I'll have to manually check private chats every few seconds.
