Subject: Future of Facebook Messenger Support - Any Hope for a Solution?
Hi everyone,
I've been following the discussions regarding the problems with Facebook Messenger integration, especially since Facebook introduced end-to-end encryption. My question is straightforward: Is there any hope for a solution to this issue in the foreseeable future?
Since Facebook Messenger still works fine in browsers, I wonder if there's any possibility to adapt or create an API that restores functionality for third-party clients? Especially considering the recent EU regulations, Facebook might be obliged to open up interfaces for other applications.
Does anyone have any insights or updates on this? Resolving this issue would be crucial for my continued use of the software—otherwise, it unfortunately loses much of its usefulness for me, at least regarding Facebook.
