"Log status changes" option
« on: 31 01 2019, 03:37:12 »
Hi.
There is an option "Log status changes" (within Message sessions > General tab).
It turns on display of contact status changes, so if enabled they are shown in messaging window.
But seems it doesn't save those status changes to a history or any other log.

Is it a bug and that option should write changes to history?
If not, are there any ways to enable logging of status changes? (some options I didn't found yet, or some plugin, etc).

It's not a bug, option show these changes in log. but not promise to write to database.
Currently there is no way to write status changes to db.

I remember it used to work at some point. Years ago though. I still have a bunch of status changes in my history from that time :D

Maybe the plugin that did this still exists? It was all in 2012-2013 though..

Well trashing a history with a lot of status changes is really not a good idea. Would be nice to write them in some separated log file.

Maybe the plugin that did this still exists? It was all in 2012-2013 though..

Thanks for info, but can't find such plugin.

SOME UPDATE:
Oh I've searched better and occasionaly found SeenPlugin :)

Looks like what is needed, it allows both write to history or/and external log.
