Absurdes ICQ-Registrations-Paradoxon

ich versuche gerade verzweifelt meine alte ICQ Nummer zu reaktivieren. Leider kann ich mich partou nicht verbinden.

Mein altes Miranda 0.10.12, welches ich seit Anbeginn der Zeit als portable Version drauf hatte, mit dem originalen Passwort (5 stellig) von 2004 verbindet sich natürlich nicht.

Das aktuelle Miranda IM verbindet sich ebenfalls nicht, auch mit dem alten Passwort nicht.

Der Trick, den dartraiden beschrieben hat, funzt nicht. Es werden dann nur die Handykontakte importiert und die ICQ Nummer im Konto von meiner alten ICQ auf die neue geändert.

Have you tried just resetting your password?

Maybe your account was deleted by inactivity? Can you post your UIN here?

sure i tried, but any eMail isn't linked to my account and my password for my old number can't be recovered by ICQ anymore ...

Try to open https://icq.im/yourUIN  (replace yourUIN by UIN)
If you see [deleted] then the account is deleted and it makes no sense to try to restore it

If it not deleted, try to find DbEditor plugin for Miranda IM, open your old profile in Miranda IM and look for password in the database, maybe you just forgot your password

it looks like the phone number was not linked to the old UIN, so the server just registers a new UIN for you

if e-mail or phone are not linked to UIN and your password is not valid, then there is no way to recover account... but you can still convert Miranda IM profile to NG format to be able to view an old history
