IRC incoming messages / rate limit?

Hey!

When using IRC and someone sends a lot of text Miranda slows down the incoming messages to ~1 message per second. Say if someone sends me a hundred lines of code, the first ten are shown immediately, and the remaining 90 are then shown one after another over the next 90 seconds. That's extremely annoying.

I searched through the preferences but wasn't able to find an option. Is there any way to prevent Miranda from doing this? I just want Miranda to show me all messages immediately.

Some more testing around revealed that this behavior wasn't the fault of Miranda, but the other party's HexChat.
