Win xp and ssl
« on: 16 04 2015, 16:01:56 »
I use miranda on win xp with lack of ssl, and sometimes i see popup windows with messaging abouit ssl. In program Goldendict i just need to copy ssleay32.dll and libeay32.dll in the folder with exe. Is it enough to do the same with miranda to get full ssl support?

Miranda NG has full SSL support, Windows XP doesn't :)

You should use OpenSSL plugin on Windows XP.

Plugin requires OpenSSL (libeay.dll and ssleay.dll) to be installed in your OS.
Run the installer, select to install OpenSSL DLLs to Windows system directory

I mean without to run any installers. Just copy that 2 files wich i have

If you want to keep Miranda NG portable, you have to copy libeay.dll and ssleay.dll in the directory with mirandaXX.exe
