Yahoo "create conference" / yahoo group chat does not work at all any more

Hi there,

since I moved from Miranda IM to Miranda NG, I am not able to use the yahoo group chat any more.

There still exists the function "Create Conference" in the change-status-menu of yahoo, but after chosing the contacts I want to invite into the conference/group chat, just nothing happens.

Normally Miranda directly opened a new group chat in the contacts list in the section "chat rooms". But just nothing happens.
I have the skype-classic plugin, which brings a group-chat as well. This still works fine. But the yahoo group chat seems to be "dead".

I thought my miranda-version, which was migrated from Mirand IM might have a bug.

But now I tried a really new version of Miranda, just downloaded from here: http://www.miranda-ng.org/distr/miranda-ng-alpha-latest.7z
And even in this, the yahoo group chat just seems to be buggy.

Does anybody know what to do? Might there be a chance to get this bug fixed?

Hi, yes, it does. Just checked with my old copy of Miranda IM. It's definitely only NG, that does not work with yahoo group chat.

Hi there, thanks a lot for fixing that bug! Now (running #1135x) it's working fine again!

Two more questions:
A) when will this bugfix get into the next "stable" version of NG? (for users that have plugin updater running with setting on "stable" versions)?
B) is there any chance to get the following thing fixed/introduced into Miranda NG with yahoo groups (which was not running with Miranda IM as well, but anyway would be very helpful): http://forum.miranda-ng.org/index.php?topic=2496.0

1) It will be released when the next stable build is released, it will be soon, and it isn't important enough to just build that DLL.

I am sometimes not sure if it is better to place bugs or wishes for new functions here in the forum or in the bug tracker. Sometimes I got the impression, the feedback is quicker and better within the forum. Probably you can tell me how to behave with things like this?

If you feel this way, then do as you just did, open forum tread, then if it's needed - add the ticket.

Well, you did it right. Post on the forums first, and if you're asked to put it on the bug tracker then do so.

The forum is mainly for support issues, it is hard to keep an overview of all the bugs that have been reported somewhere in the forum.
