Telegram support

Now that Facebook purschased Whatsapp I am considering moving to other alternatives, and found Telegram (https://telegram.org/apps). There are some unofficial clients, even web based.

Any chance of seeing it integrated in Miranda NG?

Hi Wishmaster, that is very exciting. Is there a development binary I can download to alpha test the tox implementation?

No not yet. There is just the source code in the svn (branches), and you can try to compile it yourself.

Is that definite?  There is now a desktop version of Telegram for PC. (There.) It would be nice to be able to integrate this messenger in Miranda NG.

We'll see if Telegram will gain some user base, maybe then some programmers will be interested in writing plugin. As for now it's just another WhatsApp wannabe with debatable future.

I started using telegram on all my mobile phones now and on desktop. Would be nice to have it integrated in Miranda one day but it's nice as it is already.

WhatsApp is not open but there were many open projects on GitHub that helped create this plugin.
