Miranda can't understand that profile

I’ve been meaning to post about this but haven’t had the time. On Windows 10, after installing Miranda IM and setting it up for a specific user, the initial opening of the app will work, and the contact list will populate but if the user exits the app and tries to re-open it they receive the error below. The app will only open successfully every other time or every 3rd time for some reason. Is there any way to resolve this? Using it with Openfire.

Miranda IM
We does not provide support for Miranda IM. Only for Miranda NG. These are different programs with different database formats. Miranda IM developed by other people on https://sourceforge.net/p/miranda/tickets/ but it is abandoned and you are unlikely to receive an answer.

I advise you to install Miranda NG.
