StatusManager Plugin not appearing in Settings

Hi,

while copying the 64Bit-Version of the StatusManager Plugin in Miranda NG x64´s plugin folder results in showing up that plugin in my Miranda NG installation it does not work on another PC with Miranda NG 64 Bit. Properly speaking it does NOT show up under settings.

What could be the reason?

Check if it's listed in Plugins section.
Then double check if it's enabled there.

You unzipped it from file downloaded from the site or added it through Miranda with "Available components list" option?
I mostly use the 2nd option and I see statusmanager.

There is one more thing I think about. You downloaded development version and try to put it into stable miranda. Which can sometimes not work if too many changes requiring development miranda version.

Maybe my fault is that I did not add it via "Available components list" option?
But obviously I will need PluginUpdater for that option, don´t I?

Maybe there is some issue with stable... I use development version from long time, not sure how stable works. 

But like I mentioned earlier. The safest way to add is through miranda because it will download correct version that should be visible to enable (and there is no need to know where the file must be extracted ).

Hello,

I am running 0.95.10.3.

I downloaded PluginUpdater.dll, copied it into the plugin folder and restartet Miranda NG.
But PluginUpdater does not show up under "options -> Plugins".

Clicking on DOWNLOAD under "options -> Plugins" simpy opens a site in a browser where you find the URLs of several plugins.

I cannot see any menue entry "Available components list" (please look attachment below)!

Did you restart Miranda after adding plugins into Plugins folder?

The 2nd option (download from miranda) is available for plugin updater (I think) from main Miranda menu.

The problem is that there IS NOT ANY plugin-update option (look at the attachment with the screenshot please!).

Under options -> services I only can find Crashdumper but NOT PluginUpdater.

Yes, we silently update stable from time to time ... if you are not using the most updated stable, then downloaded plugin may not work
