No updates to Miranda and AIM protocol?

I can't use Miranda at all, after AIM changed their protocol. For some reasons, its looks like the development of this program and its addons is at freeze, so I can't use this program, while in Pidgin I can connect to AIM easily, but without the adventages of saving a continuous file of the chat history (Pidgin seperate the history each chat meating into a seperate log file, instead of writing the history to a continuous log file).
When stable updates of Miranda and its addon will begin to appear?

wor123, just update to development branch. It should be fixed there. Latest stable is very outdated, yes, but development is still going on - only in development branch lately.

Finally there are updates which allows me to return to use Miranda with AIM. Why this was took so long time to develop a new AIM protocol, while Pidgin AIM protocol was ready from the beginning to the change of the AIM protocol?
