Every once in a while, the chat history for an IRC channel I frequent gets purged. I then have to fish it out from Windows Shadow Copy or backups — it's very frustrating. I see that the chat log options tab has a "trim to (KB)" option with an upper limit of 10000; in reality the log is cleared, not trimmed. But even trimming would have been entirely undesirable. Can I make it stop?
