Send file filesize

How come it isn't possible to send files over 4gb via miranda? Is it possible to increase this size to infinity and beyond?

I tried to send a folder with rared files with a total size over 4gb, and miranda gave me an error message
When I tried to send a 6.6GB file I couldn't even click send :(

See attachments for screenshots of the popup send window and error message.

::EDIT::
The filesize in attachment 3 is also completely wrong. Not sure if to read it as 1529 GB or 1½ GB when in fact it is closer to 6GB

A lot of Miranda's code to send data, does so by reading the file fully into system memory (RAM)... maybe that's also the case for file transfers?

How much system memory do you have?

Sitting with 8 GB och ram, and I just tested to send a 2.5 GB file and the ammount of RAM used did not change significantly, neither for miranda or as a whole. So I don't think that is the issue. Miranda kept below.
Process Hacker did not show any kind of increase or decrease of RAM during initiating of transfer nor when it was accepted and had run for a moment.

So, am I the only one who can't send files larger than 4 GB, or a number of files with a combined size larger than 4 GB? It's strange that when attempting to send numerous files such a thing should matter as it should only care about the next file in order to send.

isn't something limited by 32bit version?  (like file size limit on an USB key Fat32)

Regarding that error message it is limited by ICQ servers and not by Miranda itself. But that wrong filesize should be fixed in Miranda. Could you create a ticket for that?

EDIT: I fixed that wrong filesize right now, no need to create a ticket. ;)
