Ive been using the facebook protocol since 2022 and it works really well for me, have not been locked out or anything. To this day it works very well with some quirks such as the group chat functionality being very limited but i dont use it often so im not too bothered.

So are you using the Facebook with Miranda right now ?? are you loggin in now to facebook by miranda ,?

yes and it works perfectly

Facebook doesn't work at all anymore after they updated it to require encription on both ends.   Miranda NG has no way to do that currently.

I confirm what my previous speaker, Elick, said. At this stage, the Facebbok plug-in does not function properly due to the introduction of encryption on the Facebbok portal. And I'm very upset about it, because I really want to fix it, but I don't know if it's currently possible.

For me it still works fine.

The only reason for that is that it seems E2E encryption has not been enabled for my FB account.

FB is rolling out the encryption status a little at a time.   I first noticed it with just one user then others followed suit.  I think i have maybe one out of about 10 contacts on FB that I can still message through Miranda NG.  I'm sure that one will be encrypted soon too.
I can still see their online status in Miranda but messages no longer send or receive.

That's what I've been afraid of since I heard they were making encryption default with no way to turn it off. I'm not really looking forward to keeping a browser open all the time just to use Messenger, so I hope there's a way for Miranda to be compatible at some point. I'm also a screen reader user and I'm not fond of Messenger's constant scrolljacking nonsense.
