Miranda On Win 11
« on: 08 03 2025, 00:08:02 »
Moved Miranda from win7 to Win11.

I can no longer resize the window (unless I set non-layered mode) and left click on Accounts on status bar to change status is problematic. (99% of time no context menu pops up.)

Is this normal on Win11?

Also can not send messages vi Facebook but not sure that is a Win11 issue?

Works for me both in layered and non-layered mode.
Ensure that "Contact list → Behaviour → Lock manual resize" option is not enabled.

Also all OK for me.

Maybe it is a graphics driver related issue. Sort of https://github.com/miranda-ng/miranda-ng/issues/583 which only existed with some Nvidia graphics cards
It was a regression introduced by Microsoft that was fixed some years later. If so, we can hardly do anything, since we don't have many video cards for testing (I use RX6700, and @ghazan uses GT1030)

Thanks for response,

Graphics: Onboard AMD Radeon \ CEZANNE (Not that old.)

'Lock manual resize' is not enabled but I toggled it just to see if that made a difference. It didn't.

If I switch on non-layered mode then the left click context menu appears normally along with the ability to resize. If I switch it back off then both are not possible.

At least I know I can switch on non-layered mode if I need to resize.

Thanks again.
