Want to restore old TabSRMM look
« on: 25 08 2014, 16:39:51 »
Hey,

I would like to restore the older look of TabSRMM, classic buttons (that don't have a border around them and don't change when I move the mouse over them) in the tab bar. I don't like the new one. Please provide me a way to restore them.

Thanks

at least one way exists.. just create your own skin^^

Maybe there's an easier way, but you'll have to wait for others to reply then.

Thanks. How can I create my own skin based on the default one?

well.. it's not easy to do xD You'll have to do everything from scratch... using images and that like^^
Just download any existing skin and modify it... but you won't be able to without some graphic skills...

It's not a good way in your case.. but at least I don't know any alternative. I don't even know why you liked the default skin but not the current one.. (I don't think it's really worse)

Better show us screenshot how you want it to look and screenshot how it looks now.
I was developing mainly Facebook, Omegle, Steam, Dummy and MobileState plugins. Now I'm retired. Goodbye, everyone. ~ You can still find me on Facebook.

Okay. I don't exactly know which update changed this behavior, I didn't want to play with rollback, so I Photoshopped an illustration how it looked like. The difference is not hard to see, because this is the behavior of all other Windows applications that stick to the classic look.

See my attachments.

how_it_looks_now.png shows how a focused tab button looks like now.

how_it_looked.png shows how a focused tab button used to look like.

hover_how_it_looks_like_now.png shows what it looks like when I move the mouse over a tab button. Old behavior didn't change the border of the tab button when I moved the mouse cursor over it.
