Hi there,
I've encountered the following strange behavior since i updated to Miranda v0.95.11 build #22523:
When leaving a chat window open and making it inactive (e.g. by alt-tabbing to another application) and active again, the window would blink upon arrival of a new message. Subsequent messages don't cause the window to blink anymore, however it is annoying to see it blink every time a new message arrives even though the window is active again.
Previous versions of Miranda NG did not show this behavior. The window would only blink when inactive, but never when active.
This blinking is driving me crazy .... i know i could de-activate it completely in the options, but it would be no real solution.
Can this be fixed in the next new miranda release?

Hey, sorry it took so long, but finally i had the time to create two videos. I hope they will help you to understand the "blinking bug".
- This video shows one of the previous versions that still behaved properly. In this video, it's Miranda NG v0.95.10.3.

When you watch the video, just read the incoming messages in the chat window. They are explaining what is happening.

hi, I can't reproduce this behaviour from the very beginning, i.e. my StdMsg had never blinked for me when it received the focus. Also in my case Miranda never flashes a StdMsg's window after it received a focus, even if it was flashing before.
is that possible that you extract your settings (dbeditor, export modules SRMsg & SRMM to ini files and attach them here)?

The important thing is that you are using miranda ng without any message window plugins, like TabSRMM.
I could find the "SRMM" in my database, but i have no entry for "SRMsg", this one does not exist in my database. So, i can only upload my "SRMM" for you.
But a friend of me (who helped me with testing, and the videos i've uploaded) updated to the newest miranda version, for testing if the blinking affects him too.
He has the same behaviour. He de-activated his "TabSRMM" (what he is usual using), and after that he get this "blinking bug" too. If using "TabSRMM", the blinking is non-existent.
But in comparsion to me, the "SRMsg" entry is present in his database. But it seems that "SRMsg" has nothing to do with the blinking, as we both experience the same bug without any message plugin.

sadly i have to report, that my happiness was only of short duration :( Frist it seemed that it was gone. But later, meanwhile we were chatting, the bug appeared again after a while. A friend and me could not determine yet what causes the problem exactly.... We will do some more testing, i think he will write down his observations in this thread later.
Only wanted to let you know in advance, so you already prepared that it's still existing.
