Title: Hangouts

How could I add Hangouts protocol to Miranda? Could I? I've tried to search in forum, but the only thing I've found is I should use Jabber. But I've got problem with Jabber... I have a plugin, it is enabled, but when I go to Accounts, Miranda says it's not active and I should enable it :-/. What could I do to make it work?

We do not plan to add support for this protocol. It cannot work via Jabber.

This is not a good news :-(. Two of for protocols I use are not supported now :-(. FB chat and Skype work, WhatsApp and Hangouts don't :-(. I am about to move to Franz, but I have lived with Miranda SOOO many years and I love it...

ladyzaba, I guess you just need to hit a checkbox on the left side (see screenshot)  ???

It works fine via jabber (with Google Talk presets) :)

dartraiden It works fine via jabber (with Google Talk presets) :)

There's no checkbox for me :-(. But in Pluggins Jabber is checked.

Try to right click > Upgrade

Thanks a lot, this helped – now the jabber protocol is available. But I'm doing something wrong, maybe I can't pick the right server, because I'm not able to connect :-(.

ladyzaba, Choose "Google Talk!" type to automatically fill in requiered settings.
And there is one important thing - go to security section of your google account settings (https://myaccount.google.com/security) and make sure that "Less secure app access" is enabled.
