I was wondering if it would be possible to do a plugin for Whatsapp Web similar like Skype Web?  :)

WhatsApp Web cannot work without phone.

Yes, but on ther other side Whatsapp plugin cannot work with phone simultaneously, I think most people who use Whatsapp have a phone too ... just an idea though  :)
