Title: Unable to get message windows to open automatically

Ok, I give up, I can't find the option to have message windows open automatically.  Would someone please enlighten me!

What I'm wanting is for the message window to open on receipt of a new message, but only if the window is not minimized to the taskbar.  What I currently have is the window appearing as a minimized taskbar icon.

None of these options do what you want?

If not, then I'm not sure where else to look.

Option may depend on the plugin you use.
The one from Vulpix may come from TabSrmm.
On my side (scriver) it is on the General tab...

Ah, right, I misunderstood the wording in those options.  I've got it working the way I wanted now with the following config:

The key to getting the window to appear vs show minimized in the taskbar was the 'Always activate new message sessions' option.

That said, I'm not sure what 'Automatically create new message sessions without activating them' means...  What does the term 'Activate' mean in NG world?
