Hello All,
iam moving from Pidgin to Miranda-NG,
and there are few features i am trying to find in miranda a way to do but could not,
that's why i am posting this. Thanks in advance.
In Jabber groups chat how can i:
-Change my nick in all open chat rooms ?
-Send the same message to all the chat rooms?
-How to auto-join the rooms when miranda starts? ( i found a few topics on the foruns but without a solutions )
-What are the supported chat room commands ? ( the /me command do work) other not sure, as there is no /help command

You can't
oh, the change nick in all open chat rooms, would be nice to have, since its the way we communicate our status, like being DND or @lunch. humm probably a plugin could do it

And this is why
I kind solve this using a session manager.
Looking forward for the new releases of Miranda-NG :)

It was long since discouraged even in IRC.
Jabbers supports normal statuses in chat rooms without any bullshit.

The issue is when you XMPP server does not propagate your status to the Chat rooms ???

Then whack some sense into your server admin's head. Or change your XMPP server.
