Title: use miranda as skype replacement ?

Hello,


i wanted to know if im able to use miranda as a lightweight skype client alternative, because i tried to beta build with the new skypeweb plugin, but all my contacts appeared as offline and i couldnt add new contacts


so, am i able to use miranda as skype replacement or do i need the skype client to add new contacts.

ok adding contacts is working now, still all contacts are shown as offline, inf act they are online and if i write them a message i can see that they are typing back


nvm: after restarting they appear with their correct status, but one question i still have: how to change my nickname inside miranda for skype, or do i have to use the web interface of skype

You have to use Skype client or website for now.
