Title: text pasted in chat window seen as images

Since the latest plugin update, strange things are happening.

When I copy a piece of text (p.e. an url) and paste it into a chat window, the text is seen as an image and the send file window pops-up:
Send File: C:\Users\myname\AppData\Local\Temp\Miranda\clp-20150107-1446420.jpg

Is that a bug?

Remmon, imo you mix two cases
file transfer begins when you paste a file to a tabsrmm window, not an url
url pasting never starts a file transfer

Remmon, if you copy Image from brouser and not image URL - tabsrmm will try and send it by file transfer.

But my problem is that I copy text on a webpage and put it in the chat dialog and it is seen as a file.
Never had this problem before.
It started after the latest (plugin) updates.

I can copy this link as text or by right moue menu "Copy link location" - it pastes as link.

The first time it pastes as a file. When I copy the link again and pastes it in the same window it pastes as a link.
It pastes as a file when I have selected it before to open the chat window.

From what browser do you copy it? Could you try another web browser?

Remmon, please test tomorrow's nightly build - there was a code rework of drag-n-drop and copy/paste in message windows.

I've installed the developer release

I noted that "clear log" doesn't do what it has to do (checked in developer release).
It clears the windows but when I reopen the chat window the messages are back again.

Because it is a temporary, when you re-open chat log it loads number of previous events from history.

Do you have any idea how to resolve my other problem?

I just uninstalled all (kept the profile directory) and reinstalled Miranda NG.
Still the same problems.
Will there be any solution?

Please resolve this problem.
I like EM_Lan so much that I don't want to uninstall Miranda  :THUMBS UP:
But 20-30 times a day having troubles to paste something in Miranda is annoying.
I have to open first miranda's chat window and then copy the text/url or whatever I want to copy and then paste it in the window.
But I always do it the other way around. I copy the text/url, open the chat window and paste it inside.
This doesn't work. Miranda sees my text/url's as images.

Please let me know if there will be a solution soon. ;)

Remmon, you need to help us reproduce this problem. For me, I'm pasting things correctly everytime.

Maybe you're using some "clipboard software" that alters data copied to clipboard, or your specific browser copies such data differently or something like that. But fact is that for me and other devs this works correctly.

I can confirm I also never ever experienced this issue.

The only time this happens is when you paste an object, i.e. for example when you run the Windows 7 snipping tool, take snip of a screen area and then use the "Copy" button in the snipping tool. If you then paste (ctrl+V) the result into miranda, it's sent as a file (picture). But this is the desired behavior.

Are you using some sort of external software or a plugin for your browser?

I don't use a clipboard manager.
I have the same problems using Chrome and Firefox.
Don't know, may'be my Miranda plugins or internal settings?

I just installed Miranda NG from scratch without plugins (except EM_LAN_Pro plugin).
