hello,
is it correct that if I send a file from my huawei p20 pro with cheogram (they say it's a conversations-fork but i don't believe it, however) to my miranda NG on my windows 10 that i have to download them manually?
everytime i send a picture as a file (i had this discussion with cheogram users already, you can send pictures as pictures but the exif-data will be resettet to 1st Jan 1970 so i have to send pictures as files, but in the end the result is the same except the exif-data is correct then) then i have to click every "http-link" of every file (picture) i have received with miranda NG, otherwise they won't get downloaded.
sometimes they do get downloaded automatically but it's a rare phenomenon.

good thing is that as you can see (i had some troubles uploading files this time, impressive 8 MB per file, i've never had this before on my p20 pro) that i have uploaded 105907.jpg at least twice and miranda NG automatically adds a "filename (1+n).jpg" to the filename. i wish paint and ms edge would do that too.

i have discovered the forum notifications. https://forum.miranda-ng.org/index.php?action=profile;area=notification
i will delete the bookmark. i hope i will get an email.

rotefantas2,
there're a couple of options for that in Options - Events - File transfers dialog:
- the very ability to download files automatically
- to set the certain limit to download files automatically, based on their size
but mention must be maid that HTTP links themselves are not downloaded, only files sent by HTTP Upload
-
i will check it

somehow the upper option lost it's tick after clicking on OK. on the second try the tick remained.
the lower option had been changed from 2000 KB to 0. i saw that small files had been downloaded automatically but not files above 2 MB therefore i had to change it too.
should be defaults settings.
