Title: Prepare for AIM deprecation
Post by: Vulpix on 06 10 2017, 18:30:27
https://help.aol.com/articles/aim-discontinued - also a notice to people who still for some reason use AIM :3 Migrate.

I suggest looking into the dummy protocol if you're interested in keeping histories for contacts whom you don't have on any other protocol.

Yeah I agree. Like, the FAQ question "why is AIM ending"

it doesn't answer anything. It just says they're excited about bringing us the best. What does that even mean, lol.

It's dead from what I can see. Just stays offline when you try to connect with no messages that the service is dead or anything like that.

OK, AIM support was completely removed from Miranda.
