Hello.
I have the strange problem last week, since Friday: Miranda NG lost all QIP contacts, in it's Jabber part. ICQ works, but Jabber is in "offline" state. Moreover, I can see messages from this contacts, but they doesn't receive anything from me in return. It's only about QIP - Google Talk and Jabber itself are not affected - I still able to contact this people.
I didn't change anything in Miranda. It simply stopped working in the middle of the day, and don't work anymore. Help?

Just try another Jabber client. To make sure if it's Miranda or not. My guess would be that there is no s2s between QIP server and your Jabber server. Or you are talking about your QIP jabber account on Miranda?

QIP is a messenger...

White-Tiger, and jabber server.

Problem suddenly and silently disappeared just as appeared - just hour ago, in 1AM. %) Well, I guess, it was some weird problem with QIP itself then. Thank you for your answers!
P.S. Just FYI, watcher, I used talk.google.com for Jabber all this time.

Very bad choice for jabber and they were supposed to turn off their s2s months ago, so there is probably your answer. Anyway, using nowdays GTalk as jabber? bad choice. (Only if you want to keep it for GTalk-Hangouts contacts).

[...] they were supposed to turn off their s2s months ago, [...]
well... everything works fine ;) But Google sadly doesn't support s2s encryption... that's why I can't "connect" / communicate with some... all those that enforce s2s encryption.. (dunno which idiot got the idea to force it... idc at all... and it was preferred when available anyway...)
Currently all my protocols seem to die xD Started using WhatsApp... almost instant death.. (by acquisition by Facebook)
XMPP and Google aren't friends anymore...
ICQ got messaging problems.. (all messages I send are "invisible" and Miranda thinks they are lost even when they were sent... I can only see outgoing messages when target contact using Pidgin is online)
That's sad :(

Well, it was first Jabber protocol that I needed, so it naturally became my default one. :) Can you recommend some another one? (And will I need new registration for that, or my google authorization will be enough?)
