My Miranda crashes many times a day since I updated to Win 10.
Finally I've found the reason:
EM_LAN_PROTO plugin
One of the reasons I've chosen Miranda NG is this LAN protocol.
Will there be an update soon?
I really hope so :)

Please read this (http://wiki.miranda-ng.org/index.php?title=Crash_reports).

Sorry,
Hereby in attachment crash log.
-
Please read it again, especially the part Update plugins and debug symbols
-
Hope this one is the right one

Yes, it looks much better :)

Any news?
My Miranda keeps crashing and Lan chat (EM_LAN_PRO) still doesn't work.
Have a nice day.

I switched from Miranda IM to Miranda NG because of the possibility to Chat on LAN using EM_LAN_PROTO.
There will be no update of EM_LAN_PROTO isn't it?

Remmon,
one of the most strange crashes I've ever seen for 30 yrs sitting under Windows...
fixed, will be available in the next nightly build

Thanks, do you know when the next nightly build will be available?
-
Remmon, every night if you use development versions. Which you should, because stable is once per few (or many) months.

But does the EM_LAN_PROTO work now? (I temporary switched to Pidgin to use the Bonjour protocol to chat on Lan, but I would like to switch back to Miranda)

I don't know. You should try it and tell us :-)

If *ghazan* wrote "fixed", then it imply that *ghazan* fixed it, not *me*.
I just responded to your question when next nightly will be available.
Am I on drugs or something? :D

Ha ha didn't know that you work all individually on the software.
Well, Ghazan didn't resolve it because I received many nightly updates but the LAN plugin didn't work so I decided to switch temporarily to Pidgin.
No problem. Thanks for your answer.

Remmon, oh, yes, we work very independently each other :-)
If you still have the problem, please ask ghazan directly e.g. via our Jabber conference (link on website), maybe he will help you further.
