Hello! I would love to see if somewhere in the future Miranda NG has a plugin for OMEMO support for Jabber / XMPP. It's about multi-end encryption and is in many ways better and more user-friendly as OTR or PGP. Right now it's only supported in an Android app called "Conversations". The key features and details can be found here:
http://conversations.im/omemo/ and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OMEMO_%28encryption%29
I'm only an "average" user, so I can't really speak about deep technical details. But it would be so great if I could have conversations between Miranda NG and the Conversations app, as this would enable encrypted offline messages and seemless device changes between them and future clients with OMEMO support.
Thanks in advance! What do you think about it?

Two weeks ago the desktop messenger "Gajim" got a plugin for OMEMO support. Here is a source: https://github.com/python-otr/gajim-otr/issues/18
It seems to become slowly a standard. The developers behind "Chatsecure" from the Guardian Project are adapting it too, even though more drastically by replacing the core app with the code from "Conversations": https://chatsecure.org/blog/chatsecure-conversations-zom/

Thank you. I wanted to write the same reply. With OMEMO support, I could directly remove all other messengers. But I want to use Miranda and 90% of my contacts use Miranda.
